Fran's Biography:

Desiring to serve the loving, laughing Jesus I met at an early age, I led Bible studies and headed up the nursery at my church as a teen. As an adult I served in various ministries including teaching, worship and youth. While preparing for a career in Speech Pathology, I felt the Lord urging me toward full-time ministry. I began working for our church’s drug rehab and prevention ministry by visiting churches, having the ladies share testimonies, teaching and raising funds for the ministry.  In 1988 I moved to Humboldt County and became the Co-Pastor for 12 years and Senior pastor for an additional 5 years at New Hope Fellowship Foursquare Church. New Hope introduced Elijah House training/prayer counseling to this county and was a training place for several who are ministering today. I also served in the local county-wide Healing Rooms ministry as a prayer Counselor and Intercessor, and then became Co-Director of the Healing Waters ministry in Arcata. Right now, it is my privilege to be an Area President for Aglow International, and to work at The Salvation Army. I have two grown children who live in this area. As the pastor over all prayer ministries at Coastline, my heart is to be an example of a servant-leader, ministering and equipping side by side others. I enjoy teaching from the Word of God, and my desire is for others to see that prayer in not only something that we do, but also something that we are!
